Yeah, it could just be the angle of the shot and the fronts being slightly open that gives the illusion. See what Frank says, I am curious.

Overall looks good to me. The back of my jacket had similar issues. I had Frank let out the back slightly right above the vent which helped fix some of the pulling that you are seeing (parallel to where your elbow is in the picture). We also did lengthen the fronts slightly - I have not gotten the next jacket that incorporates these changes but I am optimistic.

I noticed it at the first fitting and brought it up,he measured the distance from floor on both sides and said that the balance was perfect,after first fitting,he added to the length of the jacket (quarter of an inch),now the back definitely seems long.Vent gaping might be due to tight back,which he said he would let out.

Now I know whose projects take priority over mine. I dropped off material 4 weeks ago and still haven't heard back. frown.gif

I find that you kind of have to stay on top of Frank if you want things fairly quickly. I always make it a point to schedule fittings and milestones and such each time I am there and I always call a few days in advance to confirm.

Also, don't forget Frank has my fundamental pattern down and he goes straight to a forward fitting. The ones I picked up today I only had one fitting. If anything needs adjusting it is simple things like the hem and such.

Picked up my first shirt from Frank, generally pleased with the outcome. Collar has been the sore spot for my shirts from other makers but Frank did a great job. A bit concerned it will be tight post washes but we will see. Suit fitting in two weeks, fabric was delivered earlier in the week. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Nice! I am picking up shirt two next week. After I see how that washes I will be getting more.
