About $400 give or take $50. He has a less expensive and more expensive option.

$1,000, but the heartbreak, and return postage for the BFF bracelet, is included gratis.

^ not too bad actually, some people charge around 1k and never even deliver the pants even after taking payment. Waiting years for pants with no delivery and losing your money is not fun fOr anyone

I consider it a fair price, particularly when you account for the quality offered. I have 4-5 pairs from Ercole, and am happy with all.

FWIW, I have tried to skimp on odd trousers in the past by using LS / Dario and Mr. Ned, and was not entirely satisfied in either case. Ercole is a real step-up.

I used Dario a long time ago and was quite pleased. Hmmm. May have to try Ercole.

That must be quite a step up, Eustace, since Mr. Ned charges $200 for CTM on trousers to Ercole's $450ish. Isn't Dario through LS also around $200 for CTM? Could you tell us a bit more about why Dario and Mr. Ned weren't quite satisfactory?

Had my first fitting with Frank yesterday at his Manhattan office. This is my first suit with Frank and he will be doing a second fitting before the product is completed. Pants were not quite ready so we only worked on the jacket. While there is a little to clean up in the back (including further allotment for my posterior) I am pleased with the way the garment is progressing. Its nice though potentially expensive to work with a tailor who turns around garments in a matter of weeks versus the months I am used to when I have worked with traveling tailors. The fabric is a navy birdseye from Harrisons Premier Cru book.
