Unsanforized jeans are what can be referred to as shrink-to-fit. They will lose roughly 1.5-2 inches in the waist, 3 inches in the inseam, and around a .5 inch in other measurements.
You are supposed to soak these before you start wearing them, they probably won't fit otherwise. Either that or you screwed up on the sizing and they won't fit after the soak :P
They were on sale at 50% off at fit me to a T - perfectly before soak (other sizes were out).
I wouldn't mind a shrink in the waist but I want to wait till I stretch it out a bit; not sure if I'm making sense.
My assumptions: wearing stretches jeans
washing will shrink jeans
= cancel each other out
The only part that wouldn't fit after a shrink is the thighs so I'm trying to get them as large as possible pre-soak.
the weather is cold where I live and my life style means I won't be breaking any seams or anything so I'm not worried about weakening the jeans
does this make any sense?
