Check out Hotel Max, it's right in the middle of downtown, modern boutique style feel and reasonably priced.

That was another hotel I was considering. Looked into it randomly a month or so ago. It seems like a cool place to stay, and I really liked the whole art theme they have running all throughout it.

I'm a fan of Kimpton hotels. I stayed at the Alexis a long time ago, but stayed at the Monaco in Portland and it was really nice.

I'm a fan of the Alexis. I love the part of town it is in, and I don't mind walking up First Ave to reach the more usual parts of Seattle.
