Spoilers for those who don't want book stuff combined with speculation for this season of GoT. Click at your own risk:

I think having it be Sansa that marries Ramsey instead of Jayne Poole/"fake Arya" makes Jon's decision to attack Winterfell and the Boltons more understandable from a TV point of view, and rids us of multiple unnecessary side characters and plots. It is interesting to see where this will end up... I would like to see Baelish come to an untimely demise though, as much as he's helping "the good guys" now.

Baelish doesn't know about Ramsay (at least not the full extent). He probably think he is like Roose, rather than batshit insane.
He is so used to knowing everything before he makes a move...and here he admits he doesn't really know (I am not sure Roose even *realIy* knows). I suspect he is goign to get fucked bad by this deal.

Hard to believe Sansa would go along with it so easily though.

It seems that only Arya's storyline is sticking (mostly) to the book. No dreams though

So with the Sansa story line change does this mean Mance is actually dead? Does it cut out the whole story line of him and some women infiltrating? Does Ramsay make Theon go down on Sansa?[/quote]

It's a dopey storyline, but ...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
This is an opportunity for Theon's redemption for the Starks and Sansa's revenge on the Boltons. It will take place in the bedroom with Ramsay, leaving Sansa large and in charge once Stannis shows up.
