Been waiting for that now for three whole seasons. Was not as satisfying as it was in the book.

Agreed, but it was still pretty well done. The humiliation of Tyrion was excellent--I cringed several times.

I'm wondering if one of those mummers was a woman.

Uh dude...I'm pretty sure that even if you know you are innocent...there is no way in hell you are drinking out of the cup that just poisoned someone. Probably not going to end well.

By Dothraki standards that was a pretty poor excuse for a wedding.

Who will be left to protect Sansa then?

Thank god the Fool is sharp enough to take Sansa out before the shit hit the fan. Seems like he knows something?

Who's gonna save Tyrion at this point? The other half of the Kingslayer Brotherhood?

I'm assuming it was the cake that was poisoned, but I wouldn't be taking that risk were I Tyrion.

And really, it wouldn't prove anything anyway. That bitch is just mad.

One of those questions that is just begging for massive spoilers

hint: I imagine we will find out in next week's cold opener

Thank God they killed him off last night. As the wedding went on I kept getting a sinking feeling that they would drag it out until the start of next week's episode. Thankfully, I was able to go to bed satisfied.

I don't think anybody saw an assassin in the book either. Wasn't it inferred that it was Melisandre and her dark magic sort of like how she killed Renly? Not that they did a good job of pointing that out in the show either though.

The consensus seems to be that a Tyrell, likely Lady Olena, was behind it. Littlefinger is also likely involved, at least in arranging for the poison to be delivered.

It's pretty well spelled out by a non-pov character. But that character may wish to seem all powerful to his audience so there are general caveats.

Precisely--that's why I caveated with "general consensus" smile.gif
