I guess there was an double entendre there. Unintended.

She is hitting depths with the character that the books never quite did.

Think the buttocks made an appearance too...as she was trying to get R. to sleep with her (instead of her brother).

"He tried to do...things to me. Things that would certainly not result in children."

Also that scene with Renly, Margaery, and Loras was creepy as hell. "Come on bro, warm him up for me and I'll tag in." Ick.

Yeah, that was pretty freaky. What it demonstrated though is the Tyells are 100% political animals. She needed to produced a child and was willing to do whatever it took. I think people that are not entranced with the Grandma from last night's scene are not getting it was another show of what political animals the entire Tyrell family is.

Nice change of pace from how politically unsavvy the Starks are.

Probably a key theme in the entire series. Everyone is a politician except if your last name is "Stark." Even John Snow turns out to be a better politician. Guess not having his father's last name was a positive after all.

The Grandma was awesome. Loved the scene with Margery and Joffrey, too. Curious to see where their "bonding" leads

Renly was only interested in her brother.

We all know that. I am asking what we think the things he tried to do with her are. PIITB or PIIHB?

I don't think he tried to do anything with her. Margaery was trying to imply that he was going to PIITB, but that was just to get Joffrey talking about his perversion etc etc.

Oh, I think she made that up. She was playing Joffrey (its not like she didn't know Renly was gay with her brother), trying to gauge what he knows and speak to him as the sexually inexperienced child that he really is.

What really happened was she tried to get Renly to do her from behind (although not PIITB...at least not finish ITB) after warming up with her brother...probably would have worked eventually but he was killed soon after her first swing at that plan.

One thing people need to understand about GoT is that people lie. Don't take everything they say seriously.

GoT is such a well casted show. Peter Dinklage obviously, and the kid who plays Joffrey infuriates me just by looking at him - he doesn't even have to say or do anything

and now we have Natalie Dormer, who excels at playing the saucy little temptress nod[1].gif

Again, this just shows what a political beast Margaerie is. We now know her whole family are political beasts. As I said earlier and underlying theme here is that of political adepts vs. those that are not adept or refuse to play. Dany is capable of it but she hates it and often makes choices based on what she thinks is right/moral vs. what would be politically expedient. We all know how the Starks fair in politics. There is a clear motif of those that can play the "Game of Thrones" and those that cannot/will not.
