I'm happy with what I've seen so far. For the second episode I'll give main props to (the actor that plays) Joffrey. What an insufferable little shit.

You ever read the Sword of Truth books? It's like all he knows how to write is stereotypes. None of the characters have any depth, or surprises. The villains are comically evil, the heroes resolute and dauntless, the loves passionate beyond anything known but! horribly conflicted at the same time! Also his description of combat basically boiled down to "RAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" repeated over and over. I gave up after about seven of them (friend was a big fan and pushed me that far), maybe it evolved since then.
