Nice screenie, that deff looks like Hodor on the far left.

I see Robb, Sansa, Arya and Brann but is the boy to Catelyn's left suppose to be Rickon? He seems really old if it is.

All the Stark children were "aged" to make it appear more realistic. EDIT: And that is Hodor, being played by some gigantic Irish DJ.

I never read the books (not a nerd) but I got a real kick out of that episode. Plan on keeping up with this for sure.

The cinematography is breathtaking. I wish Katheryn Stark was played by Laura Linney, she was fantastic in John Adams. Sean Bean is a good Ned, if a bit old.
Thanks for that great screencap.

I guess that's Ser Rodrik Cassel way to the right, behind Rickon and Catelyn.

I just realized that the kid who is obviously important who was holding Ice for Ed at the execution scene is Theon Greyjoy.

I mean, I could tell he's an ass, but I just wasn't sure who this ass was.

One of the few casting decisions that doesn't even come close to matching the picture I had in m y head. I figured Theon would be much "prettier."

I was hoping they'd show Theon kicking the ranger's head around.

I figured Theon would be much darker, but I have no idea what the Greyjoy colouring is, since Westeros has absurdly rigid family traits. I guess he fits it though, much like Joffery, I already dislike him.

Viserys was too neutered for my tastes. He seems like a whiny douche, as opposed to the "crazy" side of the Targaryen "noble/batshait crazy coin"

I'm quite pleased.

Acting was good even if some of the characters dont match up to book descriptions. I like some of the little touches that true fans would notice. Such as the unsullied guards at Illyrios, Danys resistance to heat in the bath. Nice foreshadowing, even if most viewers wont remember them. Can't wait till the next eps.
