What's up with that crazy Nespresso place on Prince Street? Whoever thought it was a good idea to drink coffee in an appliance shop? And what a bunch of ass clowns in there. There was even a guard by the exit with an ill-fitting blazer all making sure you didn't steal anything. Pitiful.

My dumbass boss got one of these and its the worst setup.
We went to the shop in bloomingdales to get more, and delt with the most pretentious douchbaguette just to get some coffee. They acted as if we were hassling them by wanting their product. And there was 4 girls working a counter a ******* vending machine could of managed.
Can only buy online from 1 site and theyre shops in premium locale's
Do not kop.

Good locations, good presentation, what's not to like about the Nespresso shops?

The Nespresso shops are fantastic, as are the machine and the coffee that it produces.

Got it. I just never thought of drinking coffee in an appliance shop.

It's not really coffee, anyhow, more like the Camp Coffee that my grandfather used to drink right up to 1970's.Nothing beats a fresh roasted espresso blend through a high end machine. No true godshots with Clooney's instant coffee.

Petrus, is that you?

For the amount of effort and cleanup required it's amazing coffee. As for you so called "god shots," unless you know some secret that the majority of the espresso world does not, they are the exception, not the norm. More often than not, even with very expensive equipment, people pull mediocre shots. Nespresso pulls consistently excellent shots without worry of user error.

Most times I make it, I get a perfect shot. Some days can be harder due to humidity fluctuations, but that just needs an adjustment of grind and tamping pressure. However with Nespresso, the bar is set much lower, hence your 'consistently excellent shots'. It is like the difference between ready-to -wear and tailor made, and in this case I am the tailor and you are wearing something you bought at a discount outlet center.

Loving coffee without being a drip article. From a man with infinitely more food credibility than everybody on this forum (with one notable exception. Not KWilk).

Enjoyed my lunches/coffees at the Madison Ave location. Usually not paying so no idea of price, but service was always pleasant.

My only real issue is that it never seems to be hot enough. Even if I microwave the hell out of the espresso cups...
