Is wearing boxers with jeans wrong?

I was told by a member here to post it in this forum as it would get better replies

I"m in my mid 20s already and read recently that you should not be wearing boxers under your jeans because they look really bad. Back when i was real young like under 14, i wore briefs but after that all i ever wore was boxers. However, i had no clue boxers with jeans are wrong. I read that you should only be wearing boxer briefs with jeans. Is this true?

I always wear boxers now. I would never wear the tighty whities anymore. But should i be wearing boxer briefs when i go outside? Note, i wear regular jeans like bootcut and straight jeans and don't wear those skinny jeans.

Note, i do not wear my jeans where it sags but if i say lift up my shirt, i can clearly see my boxers tucked into my jeans.

Wear trunks. Boxer briefs still have the scrunching problem, so it makes no sense to wear them. Trunks solve that problem.

It's in fact an unbreakable rule that you cannot ever wear boxers with jeans. You're going to fashion jail for breaking the fashion law you shithead

i haven't frequented this forum in 2 years already. But would you guys suggest wearing boxer briefs you going outside? Back then i did some very foolish things. Such as wearing white socks with black shoes... so i don't want to look foolish anymore.

To OP, wear whatever you're comfortable in. If you start to overthink underwear "rules" you're spending too much time on SF, likely in MC.
