Engineered Garments SS11 - Page 58

Went down to Nepenthes yesterday to pick up the R&T jacket. Here's a pic. Seems like Daiki designs 100% of R&T... Abdul said that the concept behind the label is similar to the way CdG Shirt operates in relation to CdG Homme. More playful fabrics, etc. I'd say more affordable too. Got to take a look at the EG Fall 2011 lookbook.... It's yet another amazing and fairly original collection. There are really opposite extremes... some true workwear (lots of super puffy down vests) and some very romantic and elegant stuff (huge prince-of-wales-alike buttoned shawls, patterned knitted wool hooded dickies, an apron -yes, an apron- to put on top of a suit, a black velvet embroidered Bedford -similar to this season's- but thicker). Very austere, but everything looks very wearable compared to previous FW collections. I'm a fan.

Fits the same as A/W 10 IMO...

Hi all, I'm looking for someone to proxy something from Nepenthes NY to send to the uk, can anybody give me some advice how I might go about it. Many thanks.

Some nice pieces there for sure.

Rough & Tumble are designed by Daiki, per Prurient's post at the top of this page. Intermediates are released between seasons. The pieces tend to have fewer details. Most shops don't have access to carry these, as they aren't part of the main collection. They almost feel like what would be made specifically for the Factory Stores (at outlet shops) if they had one.

Looking for the Blue/Light Blue stripe Baker here in the US. Checked Timbo's list, but no find. The Bureau's got it, not interested in shipping prices. Any ideas?

Nepenthes NY has the patch pocket shirt in blue and pink. They claim they'll be able to ship phone orders soon (but not yet)
