Of course it was too big for me, as was the shirt. The hat, well I still have it but it only gets worn as constume now. Looking back, I'm not that embarassed - although I didn't know what I was doing, it started me back down the road to dressing well. I'm still on that road and I still wear plenty of vintage stuff but I am much more careful about fit, pattern, well, everything these days. This was also just before I started riding bikes and running more seriously so I've lost a lot of weight since then, although not compared to RDiaz - amazing!

Assuming it's a DB, I actually like that suit - roominess included. You even look like you pulled off the look without being costumey, which is quite an achievement thumbs-up.gif

Brah.. I was praising the look. You was playa fly brah... that shit would get a 1000 hits on Tumblr... looks like a vintage foto of the greatest rapper alive...

with your I-listen-to-real-hip-hop looking ass. John blazing it to all the way to the essence. Ready to argue down anyone who doesn't get why Illmatic is no 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the list of greatest rap albums ever.

man I wish I could find old high school pics. I as a Soufside "Thug" Trillest 90lb "goon" you would ever come across. I wore size 40 jeans... but like i said.. I was 90lbs. Let that sink in.

I would constantly lie about being on the streets and hustling... knowing damn well that the reason my thug friends never saw me outside of school was because I was in my uncle's 5 bedroom house working on my AP Humanities essay on Socrates.

I actually hung out with some really bad elements back then..I was the smart guy in the group that always hid how smart I was..my mom used to raise hell saying how she regretted bringing me back to the U.S because of all the trouble I got into as a kid..crazy enough when I visit bmore and run into those same guys..(most are locked up, two are dead).. they are always like, 'are you a doc now?'...never knew they saw me that way... from shooting bb guns at cop cars to a masters.. been a long climb up, hehe

Ha ha, I was guessing there might be Godfather or Goodfellas quotes. Mind you there must be something to it - I remember walking down the street in this get up and people were getting out of my way. And me all of 5'5"...
