Paris 5 day trip

I'm renting an apartment in the latin quarter with 4 friends for the next 5 days.

Does anyone have recommendations for places to eat that would fit a student budget of 20ish euros p.p.?

Any cool museums or other sights that we might not have heard of?

And of course.. any good places to shop/score good deals? I can think of the APC outlet, but what else is there?

Random advice?

You can stumble around tipsy and find decent and affordable places to eat and drink in the Latin Quarter. For that part of Paris at least, I'd suggest just playing it by ear. There are a lot of younger, college aged people that hang out there so you should have no problem asking people if you really can't decide. Paris does have things to see outside the Latin Quarter though...don't miss that.

I liked the Musee de Cluny. The unicorn tapestries were amazing. Aside from that 20 Euros can't get you much in terms of food in Paris. I would recommend not really eating. By this I mean saving the 20 euros up for a nicer meal. In the meantime tide yourself over with fabulous pastries, croissants, cheese, etc...then at the end of the trip splurge and go somewhere a bit nicer. The steak tartare is a must try. It is so delicious but scary looking at first. Hmm...what else shopping wise? They have alot of 'fast fashion' boutiques. Just look it up. I'm sorry I'm not much help. I'm used to Paris on a different budget. Good luck!

you can eat really well for like 15 euros in paris. find a brasserie right not next to the eiffel tower and get steak frite and a glass of red. that should be lke 15 euro

And look for the japanes around rue des petits champs/rue s.te anne or some moroccan

Centre Pompidou, and the Picasso and Rodin museums. Picasso may be closed. Also, just hit some of the galleries in St. Germain (free). For cheapish eats, hit Cafe Breizh once. http://www.breizhcafe.com/fr-breizh-cafe-paris.html Also - there's plenty of good street food in the LQ and there's also some decent middle-eastern stuff in the Marais for good prices.
