Embrace the Kitsch-coat. It escalates lacking any reason, silk details to match the lustrous cashmere, mop buttons to match the silk details, large martingala to match the cuffs and the huge lapels, strange pocket configuration (I even dont want to explain) and rumpled sleevehead to match my overall lack of taste.

It is a proper "blue" in the dark blue scale of colours...

Those pictures don't seem to illustrate any of what you're talking about. I have no idea what that coat looks like.

I am having a bespoke overcoat made by Ercole. Camel, cut just above knee, SB. I am working on other details. Would like to have as much versatility as possible (formal & not so formal use) and any SF input is much appreciated. I will have fitting next Sat 1/25 and will post pics when I can.

Hiya, trying to revive this thread for an upcoming project and appreciate some advice/comment.

I am planning to commission a bespoke double-breasted polo overcoat in cashmere. Currently stuck on the construction as I am hooked on the zegna pure cashmere fabric, but unsure if I should have it done double-sided or lined.

I reside in Hong Kong where winter is around 8 to 14C can get to close to zero (extremely rare), but humidity makes it feel colder. I travel monthly and will visit the america and europe during winter time too. I expect the overcoat to last for at least 5 to 10 years (hopefully), to be worn around 20 to 30 times a winter.

Such buttery feeling of cashmere...
