I'm sure you guys are basing your compliments on his great taste, but I can't see a damn thing in the pic. What I do see is a very tall, very lean man, with a slight silhouette.

As for the appearance of the cut, maybe its a taste thing, but I think a shorter coat may flatter you more since you are so tall. Does it make sense to want something to make you seem shorter? Maybe I'm wrong on that one, but for me a bespoke garment's first reaction shouldn't be "Holy **** you're tall/short/fat/skinny"...in fact, it probably should be the opposite.

I would like to see better pictures though.

It actually has a pretty decent waist.

I hate, hate, hate short coats. Must go past the knee for me.

Thats awesome. I'm sure at 5'9.5" I'm as exactly as tall as someone famous in American History, but you are the envy of all American History teachers with your stature!
