Hey, I'm trying to get into Kendrick Lamar, where do I start? There are a ton of his mixtapes available and I want to avoid the bullshit.

Section.80 is fucking great. Also check out Ab Soul's Control System who is prevalently featured on Section.80. The production on that album is awesome.

Don't think it was as good as all the hype surrounding it. Or at least I can't fathom why.

But then again, I haven't really listened to it in depth. Just on the during commuting on my phone. When I have time, I might go look up the lyrics.
