So I mostly just keep taking them until I finally get a clear picture, but then the angle is usually fucked and makes the fit look whack. I'm never really satisfied with any picture I've taken mostly because it just doesn't capture how things look at all in real life so it's not worth being ragged on for that.
You're not alone man, I'll take like 20+ pics of the same fit and still cant find one that I like, I do find though that it helps with critiquing my own looks, for some reason looking at my own fit pics, however crappy they are, gives me a totally different perspective on how the clothes and fit look vs looking in the mirror, so even though I never post I still keep taking them.

Quality pictures basically explains why I came in second in the SW&D does MC contest. My fit was nothing special: hickey, Kent Wang x 2, and Grenson, all in basic colors and textures yet it very popular.

You must have missed the "where can I buy colored scarves" thread. I am not sure how that can be topped.

Oh, and also, I don't think any picture is a good representation of how well good jeans can fit.

photo quality is the most important waywt factor; remember pics of this fellow? a few cool pics and boom this homeless guy is an internet fashun celebrity.

Here is a something from a few years back. I bet there are some unremarkable photos of her taken by her mom at the track meet that day. But one professional quality pic, and boom . . . .

Unless you're Sidney Lo then all jeans no matter what they are look slim and amazing.

Then again, are there WAYW posters you guys think would get way better praise if they had better pics? like their posts almost never get quoted and critiqued because the pics are so bad? The point here isn't the general idea that good photography = nicer pics, it's about the extreme ends where because of the camera skills, good fits get overlooked because of bad pics and good fits seem great because of good pics.

Why don't you put on some big-boy pants with this thread and find examples of exactly what you mean? You clearly have people in mind so cite some examples.

Honestly, I don't know how you're going to see if a person's fit is good or not if you can't see it. There are also a lot of average pictures that never get discussed because frankly, they're not worth discussing.
