acne pilot boots

Shearling padded leather ankle boot. Pilot features an exposed center front zip closure, a sturdy top stitched leather sole and heel with protective rubber piece. Thanks to the front zipper, the shaft can be styled in several ways; All zipped up, half rolled down, all rolled down. The possibilities are endless!

My "winter boot" rotation is currently:

The Red Wing 4183, also sold as the "Rugged Classic" by J. Crew. CEE88 posted some pics of his:

This boot works well because of the black rubber Vibram sole, the dark brown leather (which continues to improve with repeated wear and conditioning). It may look a bit too rugged for some, but I find it works with a variety of outfits.

The Waxed Canvas Hunting Shoe in Navy

Some people may not like them, but I feel like the navy color makes these stand out. I've been wearing these like crazy the past two weeks with thick socks. It works very well. I may get a pair of the green for spring sized down so I can wear with thinner socks.

If you want something sleeker, I would say you should just do a custom order. Call up Leffot in NY and get a boot made. Something like these tan chromexcel on Vibram soles could work (the Chelsea model may not be ideal for snow; just have them made in a laceup or something)

http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr....U2j386uognQ%3D My winterboots this year. They are From Hugo Boss Orange. I`m very pleased with them, i also bought a pair of Red Wings, but the sole on them broke after 3 weeks, on the icy flats in Norway.

I've been using these pretty frequently recently. A really versatile boot

Hello,

Sorry to be a pest but could I ask you question about the Hugo Boss Orange Boots?

I am usually a size UK 8 but all the places online only have UK 7 and I was told that the boots are one full size larger than usual.

Did you find that you had to go a size down?

Thank you

PSA: If you are a size 14D, pick up these now defunct/AAAC Aproved Knapp Farm Boots for next to nothing (not my auction.) Wish they were one size smaller.

These legitimately are ugly, but I inexplicably kind of want them anyway:

Not that bad. Kind of tough looking.
