Would anyone who has both, please put up a picture of the "new" comfort flex boot with the older one?
I don't know why i keep thinking the new one is more chiseled to a point

Also any boots on their new JL7000 looking last?

Hi everybody

I'm new to the forum and since there are  not many camels to be seen: Here they come.

Standard Craftsman, Chisel Square Toe, Oil Resistant Sole, black Camel

As you can see, they are fresh from the box.

Greetings

Yellowracer

I'm looking at the two I have now - one was purchased in 2010 (right when it was released), and the other was purchased a month ago

I can't see any difference (side or top view)...

saddle soap is good enough for a few layers of wax.

turpentine spirit works well, or saphir renovator if you are rich.

No need for spit and polish on these as they are a work boot. Gardener boots that are 13 or 14 years old. Resoled a couple of times and still going strong. Currently being treated with some Obenauf's - the right still being a bit wetter than the left.

I am looking to go for the Forum Special, however I don't know what size or width I am.  I looked and wanted to go with the relaxed fit guide, but I have owned any AE or PA shoes.  So far all I know is I wear a size 7 in men's dress shoes. Not even sure if I wear wide, narrow, or regular ( how do I find this out)?  Any help would be appreciated.

I was hoping the new ones had a "narrower" chisel.
Thanks much, anyway. Just ordered a pair!

I'm gearing up to order my first RMW boots and I'm going with the Forum Special in relaxed fit.  Brendonc, has been helping me with the sizing.  My feet is is about 7 inches (229 mm)  in length by 3.6 inches (92 mm) wide.  Brendonc has recommended a size 7E (UK)....Big Thanks!!!! Brendonc for all you help I really appreciate it.  Can anyone here help to double check this before I make a final decision?  Attach is also a copy of the trace I did for my feet for measurements sake just in case anyone needs reference.

So if I may ask, what were the approximate amounts that people paid for the Forum Special model? I've checked a few places and they seem to range from $450 USD to $515 USD or so. I believe I purchased my comfort craftsman a few years ago for the high 200's or low 300's. I'm assuming the "forum special" model is just a more expensive configuration, but I wanted to make sure and to see a ballpark of what others paid.

Thanks!
