What is the average wait time for nugar? I think i recall it was a month for the order plus shipping???
Depends on whether your boots have to be made-to-order. Mine (MTO) took about 6 weeks, if I remember correctly.

My MTO Whiskey boots from Steve were sent April 20th by Australia Air Post. They still haven't arrived yet and I am sad

It's been a month and a half since they were shipped and almost two months since I ordered them.

Should I just face facts and assume they were lost in nether void that is customs ?

In my experience, Australia Post and Canada Post despise each other and every transaction between seems to them takes forever.

Although two months for airmail is highly unusual, perhaps the plane crashed and your boots were eaten by polar bears.

That's not very comforting knowing a polar bear has made a tasty morsel outta my yearlings.

The package was actually sent to my US address so it is in the hand of the US Mail now I suppose. I''ve more or less given up on seeing the boots at this point and will have to ask Steve about my options if any for lost items.

I'm thinking about picking up a pair of either comfort craftsman or craftsman on the 543, do these boots look the same except for the sole type? The pics on nungar make the yearling and french veal craftsman look sleeker than the comfort but could just be the picture?

How long is it taking people to receive orders? I placed an order May 2, was quoted delivery in 3-4 weeks, and my credit card has not been charged yet.

Mine took a little over 2 months. Mid-march to mid-may.

Eight weeks and counting.

But I'm a repeat Jantzen customer, so it seems like a mere fleeting moment to me.

Well in that case...its going to be a long hot, summer waiting for both nugar and the rm williams store to come through.

So I finally got a pair of RM Williams Craftsman in Chestnut Yearling, and I love them, but I'm a little unsure if I got the right size. I seemed to be about a 9C in AE, even though I measure as 9.5D (but somewhat narrow heels/ankles) so I ended up getting 8F in the RMWs.

Now they're definitely snug, and sometimes walking in them they feel fine, but sometimes they feel pretty tight and I'm not sure how much they're supposed to stretch/break-in. I've only worn them 2-3 times and never more than for a couple hours, so should I expect them to break in a bit more and I just need to be patient and wear them more, or what signs would there be that they're too small/narrow?

I don't have a great frame of reference, as I've never owned a really good pair of shoes or any that needed any real break-in.

Edit: In about 3 weeks I'm going to be in NYC, and if I don't think I have the right size by then, I can try on alternatives, but in the meantime I'm a little skittish about wearing them, since if I have to resell them I feel like the more I wear them the less I'll be able to get back to go towards the new pair. Any suggestions?

mmmm im a 9D in AE park ave. and i ordered an 8F after trying various sizes on. While all feet are different, if you are truly a C then according to my try on the fs should be fine. In fact, i would gather a true AE C would have gone down to an E width.

anyway ,lets see what those with more exp. on this issue have to say. If not, wear them on the carpet a few more times and see.

Yeah, see I'm not 100% sure on the AE sizing. the guy fitting me insisted they be perfectly snug all around, but the next time I came in a different guy said you don't want to overdo it and crush your feet. I could have worn a 9D or a 9.5C but the 9.5 was a tad long and he thought there was too much room in the 9D.
