Is this a good deal? Costco has their own Black Friday deals. 11lbs for $114.99

It's a lot of serrano ham though.

Hope you all aren't just ordering this instead of responding...

D'Artagnan is pretty high quality normally, but how does this translate to cured meats?

I love serrano ham. Almost always have some at home. However, I this is a lot of ham, and I would be tempted to eat way too much of it. By too much I mean enough to get bored of it.

Looks like a good deal, D'Artagnan is a very good brand. Anthony Bordain included the D'Artagnan plant in one of his episodes.

how do you store it? Do you have to eat it all fast?

Not saying this isn't somewhat true, if overstated, but serrano is delicious and far less expensive.

Bought it. I'm no serrano expert, but I'll let y'all know how it is.

Will be interested to hear your thoughts. Saw this on Costco a couple days ago and thought about it for a few minutes before realizing that it is, in fact, a lot of ham.

So it just arrived - in a styrofoam carton with freezer packs in it. There's a big label on it (obviously added in the US) that says "Keep Refrigerated." This surprised me. I don't have to keep it refrigerated, do I? @ globe: what kind of Jew are you?
