Just finished watching The Lord of The Rings Trilogy. I haven't watched it in a couple of years so at times it was like watching it for the first time.

J Edgar, a bit boring but good.
The Reader, loved every single second of the movie.

while "taken" was plain awesome, "taken 2" was ridiculous in parts.. didn't like it as a sequel..

The only Friday the 13th that's worth watching is the original, IMO. I watched it the other night, feeling very nostalgic. I'd completely forgotten that Kevin Bacon was in it!

I have a lot of personal connections with the movie and the series: I used to buy pot from one of the actors when we were in high school, and I was friends with one of the kids who is sleeping in the cabin in the opening bit. Another friend directed one of the later films (same guy who is working on the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and while that entry sucked major balls it starred a bunch of kids that I was in drama club with. I probably would have been in it myself if I hadn't moved out of the area.

Complete lies. In case I wasn't clear te 7th film features a psychic chick who rights Jason. Definitely best production value of all the movies.

Just got done watching the 1939 classic Gulliver's Travels on TCM, done by my favorite of the early American animation studios, Fleischer Studios. Now, Mr. Bug Goes to Town is on, and I've never seen it before. Story is okay, but I'm really enjoying the animation so far.

Can't wait for lefty to chime in on this.
