Edge of Tomorrow was a really terrific movie.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should.

'Nearly back to back' may have been the wrong expression. I believe it was something like one a day, so more like over the course of a week. I still rewatch different versions, but now it's usually a choice between the Final Cut and the 1982 International Cut with the voice over, as it's the one I grew up on and I don't hate the voice over like Ford and Scott do.

Brother sent me a youtube link of an inspirational speech by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Great vid and message if you havent seen it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH0nP4NzS9M

He also mentioned his hurdle into acting and how his accent helped make "ill be back" one of the most famous movie quotes of all time. WHich got me to thinking of the best quotes of all time. And sure enough the AFI list of films is pretty damn impressive:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFI%27s_100_Years...100_Movie_Quotes

of the ones ive seen, Id recommend 96% of them. still need to watch soylent green...

Ezekial 25:17.

I have that ingrained in my brain. I will never forget it. Ever.

Re-watched Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. Sunset is damn good. EASILY the better of the two IMO.

Also watched some low-budget movie that became an online hit called "The Man From Earth". It was much better than I expected. Apparently they're trying to make a mini TV series out of it now. Just need some money from a Kickstarter campaign.

Beautifully shot movie of not so beautiful subject matter, great acting and the meanest old drunk you'll have seen for a while.

Watched this for the first time two nights ago after watching There Will Be Blood again. BN was great but my god I forgot how amazing TWBB is. I'll probably be going on a Daniel Day-Lewis bender this week.

I tried watching Mulholland Drive last night after seeing it compared somewhere to TWBB but couldn't get through the first ten minutes. Four minutes of pointless credits followed by five or so of painfully bad acting. Watched The Master instead, which was incredible.

I think TWWB is the only movie where I've been 100% confident that I was looking at an Oscar for best lead performance as I watched it. I'm guessing I was not alone in this.

That certainly is one of them. But Brando in on the waterfront and penn in mystic rivier I think were also obvious

Brando in mostly anything.

Zero Therom. Good thought provoking but not as good as Brazil.
