How many times do people need to bring up that in looper they used prosthetics to make him look more like a young Bruce Willis. That's why he looks weird. Even so it doesn't affect the movies interesting time travel plot.

Whoever recommended that "Ink" movie, oy vey. I couldn't get 15 minutes in. What a hunk of ****.

I did say low budget...it isnt for everyone but I enjoyed it. Need to watch it again.

Watched the man from nowhere last night...very entertaining. Why is it every asian film the protagonist seems to be a loner that either seeks revenge or helps someone who is helpless...either way it makes for a entertaning plot.

Joseph Gordon-L evitt , looks bizarre, like he's gone a few rounds with Mike Tyson in the recent past. face is flattened. plays a kind of lame anti-hero. The feel is John Steinbeck meets scar face meets sci-fi meets Butterfly effect.
Did you ever see the original ending for Butterfly Effect? Holy **** what a better movie it could have been. It's on YouTube somewhere. ******* tragic what they did to that film.

I thought the same thing. The screenwriter had a pretty cool vision at one point and then some asshole producer attached every vapid, flash in the pan late 90s teen star to it and just **** all over it.

Also Ice Harvest. Another great film destroyed by a ************* ending.

ok just watched Take Shelter

i knew already that Chastain has been tarnished from that other unmentionable film I recently watched. But man oh man this was one steaming heap of brocoli. It was more an exercise in bokeh, if you will, just excessive shallow depth of field cinematography capturing the boring brown plains of the midwest. open-ended endings are so clichéd to death now it makes one wonder, are "serious" directors obligated to leave their audience with a frustrating doubt or they allowed to just wrap that stuff up once in a while?

Watched Training Day. God damn Denzel was excellent in this.

Watched Kubrick's The Killing - I really don't understand why this movie is thought of fondly. Jesus christ it was boring as hell.

It's Kubrick. His cult would accept anything from him.
