I like that movie a lot. It was disturbing in a good way.

Which version did you watch? There are a buck three eighty versions of that film.

I enjoyed it as well. If you get the chance check out Ripley's Game starring Johnny Malkovich. It's an adaption of one of the other Ripley novels.

I'm 2.5 minutes into Homefront, it's already terrible.

Screenplay by Sylvester Stallone! Of course it is, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Yeah, it's not like he's ever written a screenplay for a Best Picture Oscar winner ;-)

Don't pick on Stallone...

Think about when it was made, late '90s. There really was nothing like it at the time.

Well I enjoyed the movie and it was well made but I don't think it was special. It was better than Dark Knight Rises but still it's no God Father for me.

Everything is better than DKR.

It isn't meant to be compared to The Godfather. You have to judge movies based on how successful they are in achieving what they set out to do. In this case, is it a clever, taut, riveting crime-thriller that keeps you off kilter and hits you with one of the best reveals in moviedom?

Add in a brilliant ensemble cast with each character as rich and unique as the next, and lines like this...

...and you have a movie well worth the price of admission.

I agree. I always try to do that.

I admitted it's very good but it doesn't seem special to me.

I am the russian judge when it comes to movies. Also there

are some personal biases when it comes to rating a movie.
