Very entertaining. Might even have been great if some douchebag colour grader hadn't got his hands on it. There's *way* too much of this - it's painfully noticeable in every goddamn scene. Such a shame, as modern made films set in the 70's can look great and authentic (Argo, Münich) when they don't resort to this crap.

good info. will defo watch, but that sucks about them overdoing the coloring.

Saw American Hustle tonight. Man it was awesome. Christian Bale's giant belly made me LOL.

Watched The Incredibles last night - first time since seeing it with my niece and nephew years ago. Such a good animated movie.

Saw Don Jon. I think I enjoyed because I watched it alone, without my wife, so didn't have to defend "how guys act". The interaction between Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlet Johansson is great. She plays a very convincing Jersey girl and controlling flirt. I liked how they made her less than perfect.

Fun movie, but I suggest not seeing it with a female.

I hated Don Jon. The least enjoyable from the recently seen films.

This yesterday:

Competent, apart from overly mushy ending. Worth checking out how the film deviates from the actual events.

And just finished this:

Hadn't seen it for some years. Still magnificent; hard to believe it's made by the same crew as the vapid Hobbit movies.

^^ I washed the whole trilogy again the other week, and they truly are excellent. ^^

I thought the concept of the movie was great but I didn't really love the entire execution. I will say that Scarlett Johansson's portrayal of a horrible jersey bitch was probably the best part of the movie.

Sup guys.

Saw "Enough Said" on the plane. It was really good. Couldn't help thinking it was a "mature" Elaine Benes the whole time. Not in a bad way.

"Long Walk to Freedom" on Friday. The writing and acting were both great but they didn't really explain how/why Mandela was recruited into the ANC or how he rose to the top or how he changed.

Enough Said was an amazing film. So sad to have  seen Jim Gandolfini for the last time in a motion picture :(

Glad he went out with a bang. I think I would have preferred the movie had it ended after their "breakup"

I wish he lived for many more years and made other good movies (or just lived, at least).

That's right^

Watched this again tonight, DDL and all top class. Chillin, particularly as I grew up a long side this story.

It was so damn stupid. Nothing redeeming about it.

Purple Noon rules. Bob le Flambeur a also rules. The remake with Nick Nolte was actually worth watching as well.
