i dont want a test audience approved lovey dovey end, either. but based on what i read, i did not particularly like the book ending.

Not a movie, but recently started watching this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1733785/ - some of you may know it as the original show remade in the US as The Bridge. A pretty awesome show, and having driven across the öresund bridge the scenery is quite great as well. I usually don't watch things subtitled but here that might have been a mistake, as I found the danish dialogue pretty challenging to understand although I speak swedish fluently lol8[1].gif

Watched Happy People.

Those dudes are some hardasses....rarely even seem to be wearing gloves (although I assume that is because they wear huge mittens and thus have to take them off for detail work). My hands were freezing all night last night after having to go and check on my smoker every few minutes in 11F temps...

took the kids to see frozen yesterday and then watched the first hobbit movie.

frozen was fun, kids liked it, but disney has done much better story wise imo, though the visuals were amazing with all the ice and the characters.

hobbit was good. liked a lot.

Me and the Duchess went to see advance screening of this tonight.

Based on a true story the place was silent in awe throughout. On leaving we were all stunned, Duchess in tears.

A fantastic tale, marvellously told. Super performances by three main players. If you get the opportunity to see this take it.

Drinking Buddies. Good!
Odd Thomas. Good.
Man of Tai Chai. Very enjoyable.

Yes, incredible movie. Hell of a commitment to watch in one sitting though but it's worth it (admittedly the first time I watched it took two sittings since I started watching after midnight).
