"intouchables". One of the best films I've seen this year. Has everything you could possibly want in a moooovay
The french movies never disappoint. But that movie was really touching, enjoyed every second of it.

No I did like it. It was just very WTF. Especially at the end. I liked seeing all the different monsters.

It really is I might even watch it again. A bit disappointed about a slight mis portrayal of driss, the very dark skinned, strong, young, care giver. Apparently the real life driss is just some chubby looking, pot bellied, half shaven, Mexican dude. Harvey weinstein probably saw too much of himself in the real driss and requested they find someone more "Usain Bolt-like" to play the role

I've seen it 3 times now since it came out. Yeah I know that's little funny that the real person was nothing like him at all. But the story is something incredible.. if more people could be this in real life this would be a wonderful world :)

Youth in Revolt. I heard really bad things about this but it's not bad.

I enjoyed it a great deal and often found it hilarious. It summed up very well how as a 15 year old boy, you will do anything, absolutely anything, to get laid

I think a lot of people went into it thinking it would be like Superbad, and while it has some similar subject matter it's very different. Darker, more complex plot, more deadpan sense of humor. I would like to read the book as I bet it's a lot better than the movie.

eh. imo is overrated. it is a crazy ride tho

Agreed about Itchi the Killer, although as you say it's a lot of fun.

In a quite similar vein, have any of you seen Versus? The director made Midnight Meat Train in his first English language film, and it's a rather excellent cult horror.
