Western double feature.

One Eyed Jacks directed by Brando.

Then Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid directed by a drunken Peckinpah who would threaten the crew by shooting off a pistol in the air.

Dylan wrote this for the movie:

Here's a recent article on the Peckinpah movie that got me thinking about it again.

There are a ton of great westerns, but these are a start.

Here he is last year accepting the Academy Governor's Award. Vital as hell for a guy who broke 60 odd bones and his back twice.

Pat Garret is kind of a mess imo. I like it but it's got nothing on the Wild Bunch, which is the 2nd best western of all time (after Rio Bravo)

Run Lola Run, best movie I've seen in ages. Perfect soundtrack/film synergy.

Rio Bravo is one of my favourite movies period. I even song along with Dean and Ricky.

70s movies directed by drunk megalomaniacs are a fun watch no matter how much a mess they are.

Yeah I like all of Peckinpah's movies from the 70s. Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is weird as shit but so great. Straw Dogs is hard to watch but worth it if you've got the heart.

Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia has to be the second best movie title ever.

Straw Dogs is brilliant.

Do not watch the remake.
