What Movies Are You Watching Lately - Page 508

Escape from Tomorrow.

I cannot reccomend this highly enough. An unauthorized documentary (rockumentary) about a middle aged man having a nervous breakdown at Disney Land. In black and white. Genius.

Has anyone seen All is Lost? It isn't showing in theaters here yet. angry.gif

I watched the Lone Ranger last night.

I know it bombed and it sure was no Citizen Kane, but I thought it was good fun.

This was rather unexpected for me, because I hated the Pirates' series.

Btw the supporting cast was great, Wilkinson and Fichtner were solid as always.

I am really looking forward to this. I have yet to see a sailing movie that left me satisfied. It reminds me of a memoir called Adrift I read as a kid.

No, not really.

Unfortunately, Gravity has not reached Greece yet.

Besides, I prefer Cuaron to Verbinski.

I am just trying to be objective.

Ok so i saw 3 movies recently
  1. Captain Philips - good movie, it was exactly as i expected and tom hanks has not had anything this good in a while and of course this gif is hilarious: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
  2. after Captain Philips my wife and i walked into Don Juan, Gotta say not a fan of it, dialogue was very bad...
  3. Rush was awesome, i loved every minute of it. Hemsworth and Bruhl are amazing in the movie. The cinematography was great, i especially loved how Ron Howard shot the rainy race tracks. I highly recommend everyone to see this.

I heard good things about Gravity but really fear that the movie will be dull. 1.5 hrs of Clooney and Bullock floating in space scares me. But the reviews are insane and i am really tempted.

that is good to hear. i am pretty jazzed about both captn phillips and rush.

go se gravity. it is fantastic. trust the reviews.

Don't watch Gravity for Clooney and Bullock, watch it for getting as close to space as you will in this lifetime.

Really liked Rush.

Terrific movie. Captured the excitement of Formula 1, and the amazing 1976 season.
