First half great, second half average at best

Or maybe actually been alive when the commercial came out.

I was in my teens then, but didn't really have access to US commercials back then ;-)

Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II

It's the one where he saves his son.

Literally too: On the other side of my wife, there was another lady holding me at the cinema. Once she said: I am sorry, but this is too tense.

Saw Gravity for the second time yesterday, this time in IMAX 3d. It didn't stand up very well to a second viewing, and I think I actually preferred the 'regular' size 3D. I definitely thought the sound was better the first time - Dolby Atmos vs whatever IMAX uses.

Saw Gravity 3D regular with the wife last night, visually stunning incredible depth of field and the sound was great.

Pacific Rim

not bad for what it is, but I don't think I will ever feel the urge to rewatch it

Yes, Blade Runner and Alien are timeless masterpieces.... It's always sad seeing some highly influencial and great Directors past their glory days and producing not so good work... John Carpenter would also be a good example for that..confused.gif

ad Gladiator - I did write a not so positive review when it came out, but I can see why so much people love it...

Yeah, it was decent. I was amused when I noticed Jax was narrating the entry. Didn't know he played the main role. Even more amused when Clay appeared.

Sounds like a theater problem. The sound was perfect in the IMAX I was in.

I am glad you enjoyed it, Stitcheroo. I'd hate to be on the opposite side of the Gravity wall from you.
