Even though I like Jason Bateman, Identity Thief was probably the shittiest movie I've fast-forwarded through this year :-(

I'm pretty sure I enjoyed Closer as well when I saw it.

it was worth it just to see a person get hit in the face with a guitar. i need a gif of that. i will say though, im pretty easily entertained. it was not high theater, but i enjoyed it none-the-less.

^ To be fair, I really didn't expect much so it didn't give it much of a chance.

A couple of oldies seen recently:

- entertaining, though very 80s-ish, and

- red raincoats in Venice and a great feeling of dread.

Got about halfway through Videodrome. It was good but a bit too weird for me.

Now watching The Pink Panther like ballmouse!

When I checked the reviews on RT after seeing it, it had a better score than I had expected. It was a bit uneven and it seemed a bit unsure of what story it wanted to tell and how to go about it. On the other hand it's always refreshing to see experimentation with some not run-of-the-mill storytelling. In the end it wasn't perfect and I won't be seeing it again, but I was entertained enough. Also, Rosario Dawson full frontal :-)

Only God Forgives.

Definitely style over substance, but I still enjoyed it. Drive was significantly better though.
