Ive been watching a lot of British gang and/or underworld/underclass gritty drama flicks:  Hard Boiled Sweets, Kidulthood, ill manors, Pusher, Everywhere & Nowhere, London Boulevard

watched killing them softly, last night. was expecting not to love it, kept hearing it was boring and slow.

WRONG!!!

it was awesome. the action/fighting/killing scenes were very cool and well interspersed, not all at the end like many action flicks where the ending is a giant fighting bukkake. the fighting scene with ray liotta was insane and super intense. i thought the filming was great as were the characters, and the dialogue was superb. great movie as far as i am concerned.

all the kings men

thanks!

All the Kings Men is almost so bad it's good. But notquite. Its just really bad. And full of terrible fake southern accents.

Man Who Wasn't There is good, especially if you like the Coens and Film noir. Gandolfini isn't really the star though

Pretty god flick.

I just watched Pusher. Had zero expectations going in, I just needed some filler. but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very solid and well executed Sci-Fi film. If you like that sort of thing, slightly dystopian sci-fi lite then check it out.

Which Pusher did you watch? The remake or the original Refn film?

I think he's talking about something else, because the Refn Pusher films aren't sci fi.

Saw LA Confidential, Kevin Spacey was great in his role as a dickhead, and Russel Crowe kicked copious amounts of ass. Good film.
