The 'ladies tushy' is correct, for it did not belong to actress Jean Triplehorn, but to her body double.
Dennis Hopper is also in this movie playing...well..Dennis Hopper but he's always good for laughs. Thankfully, no Dennis tushy.

Had a snow day yesterday, watched these:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1405365/

Ok, kind of depressing. Not my choice but the barter with the fiancée was I watch a romcom if I get to watch Skyfall. So, that said, up next was Skyfal. Which I thought was pretty awesome.

I rather enjoyed that film for what it was. Not really sure I'd characterize it as a romcom.

atention : lefty and harvey

watched to kill a mockingbird last night. unbelievable good. tremendously powerful and stirring on a great many levels. and the way the film weaves together the story of the children and the adults into one was just amazing. loved the narration as well, perfection. what an awesome movie.

also watched some of the bonus features with gregory peck. would have watched them all if it wasnt 2AM. he seems like a very interesting person. a real stand up guy.

thanks for making me watch that. im better off for it.

Glad you enjoyed it Stitcherrific--it's one of my favourites.

Another great film Peck was in--although in my opinion he's upstaged by Danny Devito--is Other People's Money. Also the original Cape Fear and Guns of Navarone are quite enjoyable.

My favorite old-Hollywood stand up guy remains Jimmy Stewart.

I need to start charging for this stuff.

Since someone mentioned Stewart, and you're on a political bend, check out Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, stitch. It's as Capra as Capra gets and has the great Jean Arthur in probably her best role. There's a scene where Stewart meets Paine's daughter and Capra moves the camera to a CU of Stewart's hat as he nervously fumbles with it. It is an absolutely brilliant bit of business.

The Man Who Knew Too Much
Harvey (The 1950 version)
Bell Book and Candle
