Because all that happens in CR is a game of pocker...that scene kills the flow of the movie its far too long.

Watched Mama. Pretty intense movie. Special effects were a little cheap, but the story was solid and so was the acting.

I thought the first half was pretty good, but "Mama" herself just wasn't that scary (should have relied more on practical effects, rather than the crappy computer generated ones).

Usually don't bother to spend the money going out to see a movie, just wait for it on Netflix.

Last in theater movie I watched was Hobbit, last Netflix movie was The Five Doctors (Doctor Who).

Next time I'll make it to a theater movie will probably be Star Trek, that's a no-wait movie for me. Have Dark Shadows from Netflix to watch now, hoping it's not too terrible, I'm old enough to have seen the old Dark Shadows TV show when I was a kid. Waiting for Taken 2 to be available on Netflix in a week, that I want to see.

- hijacking a space shuttle, and building a gigantic space station so you could gas the shit out of humanity
- irradiate all the gold in fort knox to make it worthless
- steal soviet and american spacecrafts to trigger world war III
- monopolize the american heroin market by distributing them for free first to kill off the competition
- trigger an earthquake that will destroy palo alto to monopolize the microchip industry
- cause a war between england and china so the villain's media empire can enter the chinese market
- destroy south korea by a burst of concentrated sunlight

Yes, exactly. These are not trying to be realistic. It's normal that Bond movies' plots are a little "unrealistic". But this Bond's plot tried to be more realistic, and failed. Up until the escape of Bardem it would have been more or less acceptable to me (as were the movies you quoted), but then it just turned bad. The plot that followed was hollow and more importantly stupid as fuck and not in line with the "seriousness" of the beginning. Then there were various illogical scenes as in illogical decisions of main characters just so the movie can go on. No real Bond girls. What the fuck did they do with Moneypenny? Q? Questions over questions.

I really hate Bond movies. I hate to say it, but I do.

I love Bond movies. They are ridiculous, true, but I love them. Also, Bond is what first got me into menswear, so there's that...

Dude, LBM is a fucking great movie. Mulligan is hilarious as Custer and you will fall in love with Chief Dan George.
