Rewatched that movie with the wife a couple of nights ago. She liked the Gosling-ness. The occasional bursts of extreme violence less so.

Planning on watching Linklater's movie Bernie w/ Jack Black tonight. Thoughts?

Well I do think the jacket was hot. But I would never wear one for the aforementioned reason.

Watching Resident Evil: Afterlife. This might possibly be the stupidest movie I've ever seen. It must have been written by a twelve year old boy with Asperger's and a newfound erection. It's retarded. Like seriously fucking retarded.

I stopped watching 25 minutes into it. It was too stupid even for me, and I love SciFi channel originals.

I saw Turin Horse as well. Pretty hard to get thru, although I don't discount the level of art in it 1 bit. Its an 'investment'.

I watched CQ, its really good. Nice tone, great storyline and managed to be deep and light hearted at the same time. Highly recommended.

Which part was that?

High Plains Drifter.  I saw where the French version portrays Duncan as a ghost.

I like all most of the Eastwood westerns.
