Vertigo - gotta say that this one left me flat. everything was just so uninteresting and telegraphed. really lacked the feel from Rear Window and North by Northwest.

I am still trying to get through(and get) Chinatown...Bought it a few weeks ago during a crazy sale at Target......I have loaded it up and tried to get through it appr 5 times......I don't get it....

Anyone else excited for Baja Dunes(same director as district 9) and Mad Max in 2013?

2013 is going to be such a big year for blockbusters.

N x NW was Hitchcock's best film, IMO. And god that Eva Marie Saint was hot.

I never understood the fascination with that film. I never got thru it either. Going to give it another try, actually.

Does Max win in the end? I can't take the suspense.

Hoozah is referring to the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (and I agree with him) but if Hollywood ever got a foreign film so completely wrong it's with the remake of the Vanishing. Holy fucking shitballs what a terrible thing they did to the ending.

Chinatown rocks. Vertigo was good but not as good as the other two I mentioned. Maybe I went in with too high expectations.
