What Movies Are You Watching Lately - Page 326

per the advise of someone in this thread, a few months ago, i watched headhunters last night.

what a freaking awesome movie. those furriners sure know how to do violence in a thriller, outside of gory horror movies. we could learn a thing or two. those scenes were amazing. fantastic, gripping and tense movie. LOVED it.

The Close/Malkovich version was perfection (or as close to it as you can get with Keanu in the cast), why must they keep remaking it?

It wasnt great or bad, but I also stayed up watching it till 1:15 when I told myself I would shut my computer off at 12:30.

Yeah I liked the original as well. I heard about the remake a couple of years ago and I've seen posters for it, but I'm not sure it even had a US wide release. Which is surprising, given the cast it would probably make decent money even if it isn't very good.

interesting, i will have to imdb it, thanks.

speaking of remakes/sequels, i know it didnt fare very well at the box office, but i really was looking forward to the sequel to rock n rolla.

nah, at the end of the movie by the credits they said something like, .... and all your favorite players will return ..... in rock n rolla 2.

never happened due to poor ticket sales of the original. which i loved. i has a a sad about this.

finally watched alien3. actually liked it quite a lot. maybe the most of all 3 films. the ending sequence in the air shafts was a bit too drawn out for me, but outside of that i thought it was great.

charles s dutton was fantastic, the alien was not lame and easily killed, almost stupid like in 2, more swift, elusive and frightening like in the original, but with more gore when it killed, and you got to see the blood and guts. awesome!
