It's actually based on the third of five Ripley books. I was a fan of the series in college and read them all back then.

Also Richard Stark's "Parker" series of books is a great read.

Russ Meyer is a boob man for sure. That is why I love him.

Definitely, although Beneath the Valley's "plot" is all about a man who only wants butt sechs with his wife, and her trying to cure him!

I love how grindhouse soft porn they are, together with the many outdoor naturist scenes, crappy 70s clothes, music and lingo. Fantastic B movies!

Just started watching Project X, it's very funny so far

You should watch all of Meyer's movies, but BtVofUV is a great place to start.

Warning - the movie is paced like this trailer.

Great trailer! Yes I'll get working on watching his films again, I've only seen 4 of them so far.

Project x was ok and pretty funny in parts. Loved the drug dealer talking about guns while James Blunt played in the background, the dwarf in the oven etc

as i understand it, he was neither. rather, he was sexually opportunistic. his arousal came more out of a need to accomplish a given task, or acquire a certain relationship he could manipulate through sex. nothing more than that. almost business like.

First, thanks to Stitchy for saying what I already said with less eloquence.

Two, Raiders effing rules. It is actually a good movie. No maudlin treacle with kids or dogs or talking animals. Just fuvking nazis and the bloody wrath of god. Awesome.

This must be the place was worth the watch for sure....penn is great in everything and rarely disappoints...I am a sucker for the song as well and the movie had some great variations and takes on it.

Slightly on topic - some rather stylish Star Wars watches from Seiko, especially the black and gold C3 PO one (pity C3 PO is such a lame character)
