I dunno

I can't come up with anything I actually thought was wrong with it....it just wasn't what I was expecting.

Just finished All That Jazz (1979). One of my perennial favourites. One doesn't necessarily have to be a fan of broadway musicals to enjoy this one. There is a lot of great music in it and is probably my favourite Bob Fosse film as well as being arguably, Roy Scheiders best film. If you nave never seen this film, it is a must see. 8.5/10 (my rating)

^ Another in my top ten of great movies. Powerful and emotional ending.

Do not watch if you are going to view the movie.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

After watching All That Jazz, I realized I miss Roy Shceider altogether and tossed in Sorcerer (1977)
That movie poster image intrigued me back in 1977 so much I went to see it on the big screen and am glad I did.
4 men driving 2 trucks carrying unstable TNT through a jungle. A real spine tingler. Sorcerer is an almost -unknown gem of a film, probably due to the fact that Star Wars was released at the same time and, well you know the rest...
Only many years later would I learn that Sorcerer was actually a remake (and a very good one) of the original The Wages of Fear (1953).

Both are very good films in their own right and ofcourse credit to the original, but if you are looking for an interesting ride, give Sorcerer a try.

In preparation for the remake - Total Recall. Its a bit outdated, and campy, but this is really underrated. A truly great sci-fi film.

Look, its not perfect. And the effects are like watching the original Tron. But its a cool sci-fi trip. You have to like those sorts of movies. I don't know if the new TR will follow the same plot as the old TR. I honestly don't think it will. But, what's the harm?
