What Movies Are You Watching Lately - Page 197

Moonrise Kingdom- Hmm, not sure what to make of it. Story was slow, acting not so great. It will probably be better the second time around, but definitely not as epic as Life Aquatic or Royal Tenenbaums. I felt like this was the movie that should have been in between Bottle Rocket and Rushmore.

I had a bit of an odd experience at the theater. There were about 20 of us there, and right behind me were 3-4 old people who kept chewing their popcorn loudly, making crazy old people comments, and laughing at every single thing that happened in the movie. So, I got up and moved down to the third row about 15 minutes into the movie. When I got up to leave at the end, they were craning their necks to see me, perhaps worried, maybe insulted. Are people really that clueless?

I actually thought of this movie earlier. Never finished it the first time, plus scarlett is a cutie! Might have to watch later.

It was a great movie. Just the whole style and way of filming made it stand out to me. The kids did a fantastic job too.

Slick, tight, adult thriller. Bloody and violent. Moves like the wind. Some plot issues, but easily forgiven.

Go see it.

Its quite good. I recommended it about 20 pages back, worth seeing.

Tonight I just finished Outrage: The Yakuza Way. It was pretty good but...

I liked it. Worth seeing.

Finally saw The Grey. Aside from a few decent parts it was mediocre overall. As usual, Liam Neeson was awesome.

that alone would make it worthwhile imo.

Like for Taken 2. everything looks recycled, but because Liam Neeson is in it, I'll watch it and give it a 11/10. Most badass actor of our time.

That's a killer set right there. All three are excellent, IMO.

Punch-Drunk definitely will require another viewing, but I see the potential and why people love it. Lost in Translation was great. Both were movies I've been meaning to watch for a while, it shouldn't have taken me so long

Animal Factory was ok, it was the easy watch I was looking for

Only on the 3rd ep, but I love everything about it....even the narrator's accent where every statement sounds like a question.

Just finished Jiro Dreams of Sushi. FUCK! I want to eat at his restaurant before he passes away/retires.
