most of the world's best movie output is not in English. Get into the habit. Second nature after a while. I don't speak French but most of my viewing is French with subs. No problem.

Don't even remind me of "Vanishing". What a terrible remake that was...

The original is easily one of my top five horror/psychological-thriller of all time.

i hear ya, but pans labyrinth was one one the best and most engaging movies i have ever seen and it was subtitled. loved it.

You got that right. It's one of the saddest movies I've ever seen. I cry at the end every time I see it...no other movie holds that distinction.
