What Movies Are You Watching Lately - Page 894

Already read that Ridley was going to show that ford is replicant in this sequel.

He already did in his Final Cut (and in the Director's Cut before that), plus he's stated as much in interviews and so on (I personally disagree with this, as the story's much more interesting with a human protagonist - Ford agrees. Actually, keeping it at least ambiguous is more interesting than spelling it out).

I agree with otc that the best chance of this working would probably be to tell an unrelated story in the same setting (which is only 3 years away now...).

I think Blade Runner 2 could be an interesting sequel, Ridley Scott is a great director and after all these years... He should have a good reason to do this

Scott is just a producer on the next one for right now. But I'm sure heavily involved.

Always a fun movie if you're in an altered state. Also back when Meg Ryan was really hot. What did that woman do to herself?
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Huh? He wasn't human to begin with?

I thought the unicorn dream gave that fact away. Always been a debate if he was human or not.

Enjoyed this. Ralph Fiennes is a blast.

^ I enjoyed the movie too

Just watched Dancer in the dark with Bjork and it was very good, esp if you like/tolerate musicals

Just a few years back, and thought it was okay. I guess I wasn't paying much attention. Will rewatch again.

I like Wes anderson, but that's the definition of "seen one, seen em all"

Interesting that my 14 year old asked about 20 minutes in 'is this done by the same guy who did Fantastic Mr Fox?'. Not sure how the f#ck he worked that out.

Fiennes dialog and his performance really saved this one for me. Made it just different enough to stay engaged. But I'm partial to the whimsy of Anderson's films so it's a low bar for me.
