What Movies Are You Watching Lately - Page 861

Trailers cgi look so bad. I normally love Ron Howard but this was supposed to be released in March. That's either good or bad. Good because they thought it was in contention for oscars or bad because it took them longer to edit.

I bought my Star Wars ticket for next Friday morning at 10 am. Hopefully people won't be up that early for it. There was a 9 but it was in 3D

the whale following them 1000 miles from the original attack, and Owen Chase having a moment of shared understanding looking at the whale, and they both parted anad left each other be. That was dumb.

The whale attacking them is a small part of the book, and it's mainly a survival at sea story. I feel like people may watch it expecting something else based on trailers.

I know right I read the book a few years ago but Im hearing the hype and trailers thinking "maybe Im mistaken about it being the same book"

A husband is convicted of murdering his heiress wife, and even worse everyone believes he is guilty. He hires a Harvard law professor to appeal his case. Based on a true story.

Good pick. Love Jeremy Irons … Glenn Close ain't bad either. happy.gif Ron Silver is awesome as Dersh.

I watched Knock Knock the other day.  Dumb plot, Keaneu Reeves in a non action movie being seduced by 2 ok decent nice hot yet nutty girls.  He was doomed from teh start

Lifeboat (1944)

Great movie, and Tallulah Bankhead is awesome.

One of my favourite films. Hume Cronyn in that as well.

I thought it was quite odd that the film was practically encouraging discrimination/racism. I can just imagine a contemporary remake film with a Muslim instead of a German.

It was criticized at the time for for being too sympathetic toward the German

Weird but not bad… better than the reviews generally.

A bit of a Jacob's Ladder-esque mind trip with a time traveling element… not nearly as good as JL, but certainly enjoyable.
