I like the move it self...i went on like a 3 year quest to watch this movie...I saw a snippet of it when it came out forgot what it was a few years latter then made like it like a month long search to find it.

I remember that movie now. Body doubles or something? Pretty average.

I like futuristic dysatopian type films so I liked it...

They are clones bread for their owners to use when they need their organs etc...and when they are given a ticket off the island its their owners wanting or needing an organ

The story was fine, I just found the constant product placement annoying. (IMHO) Skyfall was subtle in comparison..

I liked Gattaca in that vein. Uma looked incredible in that movie.

District 9, V for Vendetta (though it seems nobody liked it), Brazil and of course #1 Blade Runner

Ha ha, anyone ever seen Death Race 2000?

District 9 blew me away big time
I liked V for Vendetta
Brazil & The Blade Runner - no words needed....
Death Race 2000 is a Corman Classic

btw - anyone seen Fassbinders "Welt am Draht" ?
It's available on DVD and even on Criterion Blu Ray nowadays...
I loved that one as a kid.. :)

District 9 was puerile politicized crap. I'll never understand why people like that movie.

V for Vendetta was great fun.

And I don't like Blade Runner much. It's way overrated -- a boring and watered-down version of Philip K. Dick's fun but flawed book. Its only saving grace is that it has a few scenes with nice visuals.

Ive probably watched gattaca 25-30 times. Everytime it was on show/stars whatever the past few years I watched it.

District 9 was good but nothing that really warrented more then a few watches.

V for Vendetta is good but isnt on tv that much so ive only seen it 3 times.

Brazil and blade runner are great of course.

I actually liked the new total recall a lot more then the arnold version.

Saw Lincoln. DDL was powerful. I loved the argument he had with his wife about their son wanting to enlist.

Still, the best future dystopian movie is Children of Men.

I can agree that is up there with the best. Waterworld anyone? I kidd...

Some of my fav from the genre.

A clockwork orange/ Minority Report / 12 Monkeys / I am legend / book of eli / equillibrium / Dark City / Metropolis the anime one / Ghost in a shell ( anime )

The matrix...well the first two.

I saw The Hobbit this past Saturday, I enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one. I also watched 2009's Star Trek (with all the Star Trek Into Darkness talk, I had to rewatch the 09 movie), Zachary Quinto's Spock still annoyed the **** out of me for the majority of the movie, other than that, I still really like the movie. Also watched Savages yesterday. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great, either.

Whoa, pretty intense movie. Kind of a cross between Blue Velvet and Cape Fear. White trash at its worst.
