An Education - Not bad

The Social Network - I thought it was good but not deserving of all of the acclaim that it is getting.

Changed my perspective for the better.

My first impression of her was Panic Room. I went through this whole movie thinking she was a dude:

Just watched Taken for about the fifth time. I have anger issues.

I got the Jodie Foster lesbian vibe.

Nine , the Fellini thing with D Day-Lewis.

Don't usually hold with musicals but some of the 'numbers' ('Be Italian') are quite sexy.

Looks amazing. And the powder blue Alfa Romeo Giulietta Roadster is my new favourite car. I. Want. It.

Recently watched: The Tourist = Had its moments but overall, quite abysmal. The King's Speech = I quite liked it. The performances were solid and the visuals were arresting. I found the story itself just so-so. Faster = Oh, the humanity.

Chilling out at home today with a whole stack of things to watch. Just watched Enter the Void, which is, if you'll pardon the epithet, ******* amazing. I wish I could have seen this in a theater!

Next up, I have irreversible and Never Let Me Go, neither of which I've seen.

Watching Revolutionary Road, right now. Great film with great performances by DiCaprio and Winslet.

^ Love Revolutionary Road. Probably my favourite Mendes film. Just watched Winter's Bone. I liked Jennifer Lawrence just fine but John Hawkes was absolutely superb. They really played well off one another.

Couldn't agree more. Teardrop is an awesome character.

I started watching The American but just couldn't get into it; read a book instead.

Damn good movie. Anyone into political films like All The Presidents Men needs to watch this.

I remember teachers in my conservative high school were censured for showing this to students, this was during the Reagan administration. Never got around to seeing the movie till recently.

It is based on the true story of the assassination of Grigoris Lambrakis, which led to the military junta in Greece backed by the US.
