Long hair is a lot of work to keep stylish and under control. Unless you have the commitment to put the time required to make your hair look good in, I think you should cut it short so its easy to manage and keep fine. I genuinely don't think long hair is befitting people once they reach a certain age. I had long hair as a kid and I went short a while before my 20th birthday.
