However once I graduate I'll probably be spending more money towards important things/saving. And I'm doing teaching so I don't expect a huge salary. My girlfriend(future wife?) is doing finance and currently has a 4.0/internship so maybe she'll be able to cop me jawns.

No problem on the info

thats cool so you gonna be like the next generation NewYorkRanger

I'm a grad student, so have to keep balling to a minimum, especially considering how much I've splashed out lately. My list is pretty weak...

blazer upgrades
decent pair of black jeans
fair isle knit
fitted gingham. hopefully otherwise set for shirts for the winter...
Maybe a shoe upgrade or two
a few skinny ties

- some type of edgy/interesting DR, probably Julius or some other Japanese brand (unless ToJ brings back blistered leather) - more interesting basics (t-shirts, jeans) - more boots - fall-weight coat, maybe a ToJ fishtail or something - baller accessories (wallets, gloves) I spent about 10k on clothes this year, way too much. Want to keep it like 3-4k next year. A decent leather will be the core of the money I think.

Seriously, there is absolutely no way I could make $10k in expendable income in half a year working part time

It looks like I'm NYC-bound this spring, so probably nothing for a while. Obviously, much depends on whether or not I land a "real" job versus interning some place and then hustling on the weekends.

Good timing, too. Even though my wardrobe still has a lot of gaps in it, I don't feel really pressed to add a lot at the moment. I could use a good leather, slim suit and some more shirts. But clothes are honestly pretty low on the priority list at the moment.

I killed 2-3k over the summer... Made like 12-13k at my internship. I was living with my parents in the middle of no where, my expenses were like... dating, and going to the bar. Which was probably less than $100 a week most of the time. It is true that a student can have lots of disposable income if they're living with parents. Anyways, my to cop list, provided I get a ~40-50k/yr job after graduating... Which is possible (although a little wishful) given my connections and qualifications. -An MTM suit (TaT or locally made) -Rick Owens wedges (dope, I love heels) -Thrifting blazers -Leather (hoping to find a used RO/Julius/Dior etc. in the $1000-1500 range... if not, ToJ.) -Hopefully some cheap coloured jeans. -A bag (my friend wants me to get a PS1 lol, PROBABLY NOT...) I'll obviously buy any other stuff I like as it comes up. All of this, of course, depends on where I'm living (rent,) what job I get, and how much interior design I end up doing. I'm hoping to live somewhere tiny to keep the costs down, but want a good location of course. I wanna try to steer clear of expensive sneaks and jeans, although that's always tough, if the price was right on some Fujiwara tron sneaks I'd probably have to do it. I dunno! If I get a job and find out where I'm gonna live I'll be able to work off of that.
