Best leather briefcase (for business/work)

Thread Starter
I'm looking to get a very high quality, sleek, black leather briefcase. I don't really care what brand it is (could be designer or some brand I've never heard of), as long as it is great quality.

Any recommendations? No specific price ceiling.

thanks!

I've been exceptionally pleased with SAB, no quality issues whatsoever.

I'm quite fond of this black, Bond version of SAB's wraparound case: http://www.classicluggage.com/English_Dispatch_Case.htm

Sometimes someone (a student) asks, given S.A.B. is so expensive, whether anyone has ever ordered from Custom Hide, and the answer is yes.

Here is my recommendation: Maxwell Scott. I own Dimaro leather conference folder in black and both leather and quality are superb. http://www.maxwellscottbags.com/

I have a briefcase from Ottino in Florence. It is over 20 years old and the lock
still works. Probably cost around $300- $400 at the time. Superb quality.

I liked the clarification you wanted a briefcase for business/work.

Seriously, if some of you guys are carrying briefcases as a casual accessory, then everything SW&D says about MC may in fact be true.
